Gideon Devapriam Thyaga Raj

G D Thyagraj born in 1930 in Kodiakanal, India. His family home was in Kodaikanal in Southern India. He studied at the Madras College of Arts.

He was active in California and India in terms of his artistic career. He was well known for his watercolour landscape paintings of village and portraits. He has two brothers also G D Paulraj and G D Arulraj who are all well-known Indian painters.

He died in 1981.
