Signed by Artist 'Yusuf Arakkal - 91' (Lower Right)

Present owner acquired this art work in 2008 from Triveda Art Auction. (27th Feb. 2008, Lot 46).

Year: 1991

Image size: 86 x 86 cm (33.8 x 33.8 Inches)
Frame size: 103.2 x 103.2 cm (40.6 x 40.6 Inches)

The painting is a striking example of Yusuf Arakkal's artistry, its textured surface adding a tactile depth that draws the viewer into a world of shadow and raw emotion. Divided into two distinct sections, the piece tells a story of contrast and duality, capturing the essence of human alienation and introspection.
On the left side, the scene unfolds with two figures elusive and distorted, perhaps Goat. These dark figures, rendered in muted blues and browns, seem to emerge from the canvas like forgotten memories, set against a soft, cloudy background that hints at an otherworldly atmosphere. The figures are not fully defined, their ambiguity adding to the sense of isolation and disconnection that pervades the work.
