NIDHI VAN
Size: 160 x 95.5 cm (62.9 x 37.5 Inches)Nidhivan is a sacred forest located in Vrindavan and holds immense spiritual significance for followers of Lord Krishna and Radha. Revered as one of the holiest sites in the region, it is also known as the Forest of Tulsi. Shrouded in legends and divine lore, Nidhivan captivates the imagination with its surreal landscape—its twisted, intertwined trees growing in pairs across the forest floor.
These paired basil trees are believed to be the Gopis (devotees of Krishna), who, according to tradition, come to life at night to partake in the divine Raslila with Krishna himself.
Traditional Indian art techniques, with bold lines and symbolic colors like green for divinity and blue for Krishna, enhance the emotional connection between the deity and his devotees.
