Set of Twelve lithographic prints in mounts on Landscapes, Monuments and People of India from the book titled Oriental Memoirs by artist James Forbes [1813]. Taken from the Plates Portfolio re-issued in 1834 Drawn 1770s, published 1834 JAMES FORBES lived in India in the 1760 to 1780 and all prints are based on drawings made during that period [the dates are printed on each print].
