Set of five very large German prints in mounts Each print carries the etching of a key Indian monument in the middle surrounded by 8 to 10 minor images of other Indian monuments. Original Captions in German. Issued as stand-alone prints 1850.

(i) Palace of the king of Delhi (surrounded by 8 images including Jantar Mantar, Gateway of Taj Mahal, Qutb Minar, mosque at Mathura, Jagmandar Palace in Lake Udaipur and a view of Calcutta)
(ii) Kandy, Ceylon (surrounded by 9 images including Jagannath Puri in Orissa, mandapam at Rameswaram, mosque at Coimbatore, and fort at Trichonopoly)
(iii) Shiva Temple at Elephanta (surrounded by 10 images including Tomb of Ibrahim Adil in Bijapur, Fort at Dowlatabad, cave at Salsette, temple at Karli, a palanquin and a royal elephant)
(iv) Mausoleum in Lucknow (surrounded by 8 images including the temple at Bodh Gaya, the zenana, ghat at Benares, and a fakir)
