Landscape Boulders Himalayan Rivers

Signed by Artist in English

Size: Image size: 38 x 26 inches, Frame size: 43 x 31 Inches

While the eye is immediately drawn to the beautiful boulders and the sparkling little brook in the Himalayas, this landscape by M. Sain of this colourful composition is equally as capturing. The representation of landscape is clearly influenced by the its context within the lush foothills of the Himalayas, while also influenced many landscapes studies of Bengal artists. A technique of creative a panoramic vision of the painting has a significant effect on the painting's tone and, perhaps, contributes to the still-vivid state of this 20th-century painting.

In some ways the landscape is a virtuosic essay on the conceptual slippage of water and images. The relationship between the pictographic and the pictorial has long been a foremost preoccupation throughout the many artists careers as they studied and painted the vast mountain scenery on the Himalayan hillsides. Their landscapes are arranged and perfected with each individual character from nature to depict the corresponding elements of nature, resulting in an image of the natural world filtered through human systems of pictorial representation.

Composed of meticulously with characters of rocks and mountains and hills flowing over the landscape, Sain affords the great visual pleasure of discovery for those who love the Himalayas. We can imagine the pristine views of are mountains built by the character for rock, and trunks of trees adapted from the radical wood, anchored by the boulders and rocks that run along the lower register. A lexical forest of nature?s idioms grows from the rocky outcrops. These characters are graphical depiction of the objects they denote, it also points to the intimate relationship between man and nature.
