The ‘Champakali’ necklace is designed as a single strand necklace comprising 17 ‘leaf’ shaped plaques set in kundan setting with white sapphire on green enamel background. Each plaque tied to a golden coloured silk cord in an equal distance. The plaques are surmounted with gold cups holding natural Basra pearl beads with gold wire with green enamel ends. A fringe of emerald drops with bunches of natural seed pearls along the lower edge. The reverse shows fine enamel work of intricate designs in red, green and blue featuring floral motifs, on gold ground.
