This book is also known as AMLE CHUGHTAI
TOTAL OF 63 PLATES – 38 TIPPED-IN COLOUR PLATES, 24 MONOCHROME PHOTOGRAVURES BASED ON CHUGHTAI’S ETCHINGS, 1 LITHOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT OF MOHAMMED IQBAL BY CHUGHTAI.
According to a publicity brochure issued by Chughtai, only 275 copies were printed. It was published by Chughtai himself at his Print Printo Press in Lahore at $315 per copy in the 1970s. According to Marcella Sirhindi’s thesis, the colour plates, tipped-in with glue along the top on individual sheets, were printed in the UK and the text pages were printed in Lahore.
