Vol. II, PP X+852+4, 1 frontpiece plate, engraved title, 8 maps. Vol. III, PP X+743, 1 engraved title, 3 maps and 2 plans. Contemporary half calf, gilt decoration on front cover and spine, title in gilt on spine. Good condition. Illustrated with above Five Hundred Engravings.
A very good set with the original yellow endpapers and perfectly firm joints and hinges. Approx 2250 pages and with numerous engravings and coloured maps. Each volume has an extra title page with engraved vignette.
