In this painting there is stillness in the faces juxtaposed with the collage, which shows chaos in the mind. Ratna has broken from the traditional form of gilting, preferring to use a more raw approach. The gold and collage have been used in her unique style, to show the inner working of the mind. She uses unconventional materials, mainly from renewable, sustainable and environment friendly sources. Her figures in recycled glass are a modern interpretation of an old form of traditional art. The joy and abandonment in the figures are uplifting.
