Chromolithograph pictorial label used for the advertisement and sale of bales of cloth and individual fabric lengths printed on paper.
depicts an episode of Draupadi Vastra Haran from Mahabharata. The vertical composition of this work divided in two panels upper panels shows the Dhiritrashtra enthroned as a blind king surrounded by other courtesans like Dornacharya Bhisma Duryodhan Sanjay. Interestingly each characters name writer in Devnagari so that one recognized them easily. The second panel consist of the scene where the Dushashan undress Draupadi in front the court and her five husbands. The work is full of colours marked with the miniature panting style and features.
