The photographs depict a view of Tower of Samrat Yantra. The Samrat Yantra, or Supreme Instrument, is a giant triangle that is basically an equal hour Sundial. Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory and equinoctial Sundial that dates back to the 18th century.

The photographs depict a distant view of Qutub complex and the barren land around it. The photographs show two important architectures Qutub Minar and Alia Darwaza. The Qutb archaeological complex and the Delhi Sultanate are important chapters in Indo-Islamic architectural history.
