Size: 31 x 24.5 cm (12.2 x 9.7 inches)

pp. 43 with 28 works shown, each full page in colour. One plate is folding and shows a three-part procession of Delhi King with British Resident. Printing is of Exceptionally high quality on thick matt paper.

Shows Lucknow artists' portraits of Nawab Asaf ud Dowlah and of Prince Jawan Bakht, son of Mughal King Shah Alam, Patna paintngs of a durbar and jolojogue [breakfast], south Indian paintings of horses and grooms, a painting of Akali Sikhs, a lively view of the Red Fort of Agra, Tibetan travellers, and Company school paintings of plants, insects, birds, fish etc.
