Artist has painted this beautiful landscape and created a beautiful impression of red dyed tree of autumn and the interesting placement of this red tree hegemonies other elements of this work. Rich, heavy red and brown have been used by the artist to achieved the effect and by the use of yellowish light artist has quietly unravel other elements of background and foreground as well.

B. Majumdar usually opted to paint landscape scenes and if we look carefully at his few survived works we can see repetition of red dyed tree. Which proves that he had created a series of red tree landscape.
