This dreamy composition shows group of weightless celestial figures floating on clouds entering in a bedroom through window of a sleeping queen. This is probably depiction of a narrative which is related to Buddhism known as 'Dreams of Maya'. (According to Buddhist texts, before the birth of the Buddha, his mother, Maya Devi had a dream in which she saw a white elephant entering her womb.)
These figures are reassembling the appearance of the figures of Ajanta caves.
Lower half of the composition occupied by the queens bed which gives stability to the composition whereas, upper half shows chaos.
The soothing ice blue colour dominating the atmosphere of this work with the hint of pink and gold.
