This village landscape emanates joy and peace and expresses the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of the Bengal culture. This landscape work featured with contrasting and harmonious colour and bold composition. This seemingly ordinary but deeply resonant everyday village scene evokes a sense of indigenous.

Artist has beautifully managed the space by placing vertical palm trees in the horizontal composition. Expanded green fields with palm trees under the wide sky in the far background with minimal detailing creating an illusion of depth whereas, foreground is highlighted through the bull carts and huts.
