This late summer documentation with shades of ochre and green captures the stillness of the season through building exterior with wooden window, plants and empty path with a big stone sculpture. This is probably a depiction of Shantiniketan Campus. Bengal school artist used to paint and inspired by the beauty and calmness of Shantiniketan and its peripheral areas.
In this work artist has opted to paint a mundane subject with empty foreground which emphases the western philosophy.
