This is an impressionist style landscape painting with minimal detailing and monochromatic colour treatment. In this horizontal composition we can see a view of field, wild vegetation growing around the water pit separated by the broken fence on the left and suggestive representation of factories with smoky chimneys in the background. Through this work artist has try to convey the industrial growth amid rural or green plains.

The dead sky in the background shows haze or smog dominating it which clearly indicating the chronic situation of pollution and climate change.
