Contemporary half leather over marble boards, matching marble end papers, Spine in six compartments with gilt tooling, title in gilt on spine.

Highly Rare complete copy with all 60 plates.

Luard was a very talented artist as well as a soldier. He was a commissioned officer posted at Bharatpur . His works were publised in 1838 under the title ' Views in India Saint Helena and Car Nicobar' consisting of sixty lithographic plates. Luard was assisted by Hullmanded but most of the lithography was done by Luard himself.
