This is architectural landscape painting which raised presence inequality in our urban society or two poles apart lifestyles which exists but never get noticed.
In the background of this composition we can see sophisticated minimalistic forms of buildings whereas, artist has highlight the overlapping terracota roofs of slum colony. The geometric forms of these structures occupied the whole space.
The viewpoint of the prospect hovers in mid air between the aerial image and the landscape view, oblique to the terrain it is depicting. It provides an order that would otherwise be illegible to the grounded eye.
The colour scheme of this work is muted brown which signifies the emptyness of the urban areas. But the bright colors cloths hang outside the slum houses giving a sense of life and hope.
